Our mortgage broking division was set up to compliment our insurance portfolio. As we talked to our various clients it became clear that many people in the market, both self employed and salaried workers, were sometimes confused about who to talk to when they required finance.

The finance generally sought is to purchase owner occupied housing, in other words a place to call home. There was another strong enquiry rate based around residential investment borrowing, and, considering we have a large base of self employed clients the question of finance for Plant & Equipment, Commercial & Motor Vehicle finance was also raised.

It became obvious we needed an individual with extensive knowledge over a number of lending disciplines; we also wanted a local with an understanding of our market here in the Illawarra.

Our Finance Manager, Ian Mackintosh, has over 25 years experience in mortgage lending and has conducted numerous seminars of behalf of two of the world’s largest banks around appropriate ways of financing for residential investment purchasing.

PIG Finance is accredited to write loans for a large number of lenders including major banks and some smaller lenders who specialize in lending against unusual security such as farms, etc.

At PIG Finance we have access to Plant & Equipment finance and can arrange finance should your purchase be a motor car, truck or bus.
